Carers Week is fast approaching. Please share as much of this information as you can within networks.

Nottinghamshire Carers Association are running 2 webinars during Carers Week. Both are for professionals from any organisation or service. 

Adult Carer Awareness Training: Community – Thursday 12^th June 10:30am (poster attached)

Young Carer Awareness Training: Health and Social Care – Monday 9^th June 12:30pm (poster attached)

There are social media posts you could use to advertise these sessions attached. Thank you.

NHSE have a programme of events available during Carers Week. One of these is Carers In Employment, led by Jayne Davies, our Employment Lead across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. (email link attached)

Carers Roadshows are running during Carers Week at Mansfield Community Hospital on 9^th, 10^th and 11^th June, with a wide range of organisations holding information stalls. (poster attached)

Another Carers Roadshow is running in Eastwood on 13^th June. (poster to follow)

During Carers Week, the NCA team will be awarding several teams and organisations with our Carer Friendly Quality Marks. Watch out on social media to see these achievements celebrated.

Finally, we’re supporting the Carers Council: Allies in Adult Mental Health, a support group for carers. Details of their next meeting are attached.
