Wellbeing Taster Sessions

With thanks to South Yorkshire ICS we are able to offer some fully funded wellbeing sessions.

You can attend as many or as few of them as you wish by picking the sessions that suit your needs the best.

The session themes are as follows:

 

Session 1: Tuesday 6th December

Transform Your Wellbeing

 Lunch and check in/trainer introduction

What is emotional resilience and why is it important? 

What lifts your mood and what brings it down.

Using a rating scale to build your resilience.

Explore options to improve your mental, physical or emotional health.

Choose one easy step to try this week.

Debrief and feedback.

 

Session 2: Tuesday 13th December

Make a change

 

Lunch and check in/trainer introduction

Exploring your relationship to change and what stops you from making the changes that would really help you.

How to communicate your needs to others around you.

Making worry dolls/warriors

Debrief and feedback.

 

Session 3: Tuesday 20th December

Stress Less 

 

Lunch and check in/trainer introduction

Recognising your stress triggers and looking at how to respond to situations.

Simple grounding techniques to use when stress starts to take hold of you.

Creating your own stress ball.

Debrief and feedback.

 

Session 4: Tuesday 3rd January

New Year, New Start 

 

Lunch and check in/trainer introduction

Planning for the future, creating a vision board for 2023. Tips and techniques to help you stay positive and on track. How to spot when you start to feel overwhelm and keep yourself on track.

Session 5: Tuesday 10th January

How to Change the Way You See Yourself 

 

Lunch and check in/trainer introduction

Take a look at who you think you are and learn where that story came from. Learn how to recognise when you are being trapped by your thoughts and how to rebrand yourself using mirror work and positive affirmations.

Debrief and feedback.

 

 

Session 6: Tuesday 17th January

Wellbeing Toolbox 

(Happy Box)

Lunch and check in/trainer introduction

How to create an individualised toolbox of resources, contacts, information, tips etc. that you can go to when you feel tired, anxious, overwhelmed etc. Box can contain pictures, letters, happy stones, stress balls, journal, emergency chocolate etc.
