Comfy seating, a friendly welcome from our staff and volunteers, and a range of resources for people to enjoy. Whether people want to just pop in or come for the day during our library opening times, all are welcome.

No booking is necessary, however, seating is split over 2 floors, with limited space on the ground floor.

Each Friday between 10am and 12pm they have a chatty cafe, for people to be able to talk to one another

Step to access the building, parking available on the front and is free for 1 hour.

Board games and books available to enjoy freely, fully gluten free location. No food or drink to brought onto the site.

'A Warm Welcome at The Well'

Every Tuesday between 3.30 pm - 7.00 pm.

Everyone is welcome but all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
There's no need to book - just turn up and it's free. We have plenty of parking.


They shall be serving a warm snack between 4.15pm - 5.30pm.

Hot & Cold Drinks and Biscuits available - 3.30pm - 6.30pm.

 

If you are planning on eating, please book in so they can cater for everyone.

Church is open, the heating is on and all are welcome to pop in at any time and have tea, coffee, biscuits or a cup-a-soup and bread roll.

All are welcome and it’s always free!

The building is accessible but the church is at the top of the hill on church lane.

The easiest way to get to the church is to park in the spaces at the top of church lane, or to walk up the lane from High Street.

St Michael's Church, Rectory Road, Retford. DN22 7AY

Tuesdays 

10am - 12pm: Coffee Morning

The Chapter House down the ramp from the entrance to St Michael's Church on the corner of Bridgegate and Rectory Road is open every Tuesday for our Places of Welcome cafe. All are welcome to join us for tea, coffee and soup.

We also have a Community Coat Rail and anyone is welcome to take a coat, no questions asked.

Every Tuesday afternoon we also have our Craft Circle craft group taking place in the chapter house. (2pm - 4pm).

Come for a chat, bring a craft project if you'd like to, and refreshments are available throughout.

Not taking place between Christmas Day and New Year's Day - every other week as normal.

There is a ramp down to the chapter house which means it is accessible for prams, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Unforunately there are no disabled toilets on site.

Baby changing facilities and toilets are available in the chapter house.
