We'll be particularly looking at how we continue to work together to help churches welcome and support vulnerable families, following on form last year's conference and looking ahead to a "going deeper" conference later this year.

9th July, 10.30am-12pm Housing & Homelessness Sub Group - Emmanuel House, 53-61 Goose Gate Nottingham NG1 1FE

An opportunity to update one another on our shared efforts to support people who are homeless and to increase housing provision

11th July 9.30am-3.30pm RETREAT: REVIVE - St Barnabas Church, Derby Road, Lenton Abbey

A day to rest and lay down burdens and to renew hope in the love and presence of Jesus. With simple guided times of prayer, worship and Bible based meditation as well as time and space for personal reflection; making good use of the peaceful surroundings of the church and nearby Wollaton Park. This is an open invitation but especially for staff, volunteers, trustees etc connected with Christian social action/compassion ministries

16th July Online Pre-Launch of the Christian Community Hub Movement

For anyone involved in a Christian Community Hub to be encouraged, inspired and to inspire others. Hear about what God is doing through community hubs all around the UK. Whether you're just getting started or you've been leading hubs for years, this will be a wonderful opportunity to learn from and pray for one another - in order to see more and more hubs grow throughout the UK as places of transformational, mutually supportive communities built around faith in Jesus.

17th July ‘The Role of the Church and Faith Groups in Social Prescribing’ 

This conference will explore how we can link social prescribing to faith projects, such as food banks, places of welcome, warm hubs, grief cafes, support groups, social activities, and advice services, particularly in areas most affected by health inequalities.
