Tuesday 30th November 2021 | 10.30am

This is an opportunity for both employers and potential apprentices to learn more about the Level 3–Community Health and Wellbeing Worker (L3-CHWW) apprenticeship.

The L3-CHWW apprenticeship standard provides the potential to equip and empower several roles within the health and social care by increasing the individual capacities whilst improving the unique capabilities.

Typical roles that may benefit from this apprenticeship include community health champions, social prescribers, recovery coordinators or coaches, community connector, care navigator and any other role that supports local people and their communities by preventing poor health and tackling inequalities.

This is an opportunity for both apprenticeship-levy-paying organisations and those who do not pay into the levy.

Find out more about the apprenticeship here.

This virtual open day event will host representatives from

  1. National Public Health Workforce Development Team: The Level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Worker Apprenticeship
  2. Health Education England: Apprenticeship levy and transfers
  3. Approved training providers: Share their unique offer.
