Have a Go- Firefighter Tests
We know that the tests to be a Firefighter can seem daunting, and we want to give our communities the chance to try them out. Whether you’re thinking of applying in future, or just want to see if you could be a Firefighter, we’ll soon be offering the chance to have a go at our swim test. We’re looking to see what the appetite for this is like, particularly amongst communities who do not learn to swim as standard in childhood. If you’d be interested in this, or know somebody who would, then please respond to this email and let us know!
We will soon be adding more Have a Go sessions for other elements of our firefighter testing, where you’ll have the chance to test out some of our equipment, chat to existing firefighters, and see if it’s the job for you! You can register to be notified of these here.
