We are letting you know that from 1 April 2024 Cloverleaf Advocacy will be taking over from Derbyshire Mind as the new provider for Independent Advocacy in Derbyshire.
The Independent Advocacy Service will continue to provide:
- Independent Mental Health Advocacy
- Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy
- Independent Health Complaints Advocacy
- Independent Care Act Advocacy
- Non-statutory Advocacy
Both Derbyshire Mind and Cloverleaf Advocacy are working together to ensure the change goes smoothly and that all those using Independent Advocacy on 31March 2024 will be transferred to the new service provided by Cloverleaf Advocacy.
It is expected that many of the advocates currently working for Derbyshire Mind will move to work for Cloverleaf Advocacy, so where possible, people drawing on Independent Advocacy can have continuity from the same advocate.
Further details on how to refer to Cloverleaf will be provided at the end of March, so in the meantime, please continue to refer people to Derbyshire Mind Advocacy Services.
