Following our successful winter energy adviser bootcamp, National Energy Action would like to present a further opportunity for those across the sector to join in a session to promote best practice and up-to-date knowledge for those working on the frontline.

              

This webinar, which was designed with the feedback of previous attendees, will cover areas such as:

 

  • Renewable technologies
  • Energy-related behaviour and best practice in advice
  • Promoting excellent training from external organisations

9:40:    Changing energy-related behaviour: Condensed learnings – led by Becky Laflain

 

Using some key learnings from NEA’s Changing energy-related behaviour course, Becky will outline how to make advice messaging more effective.

 

10:05: Energy advice in communities – led by Rebecca Jones

 

Following on from Becky’s session, Rebecca will use examples of her work in communities to help put learning into practice, with tips around having effective client interactions, targeted communications and successful community events.

10:45: Renewable technologies spotlight – led by Becky Laflain

 

Becky will be back with a spotlight on our Level 2 Introduction to domestic renewable low carbon technologies qualification. The course provides an introduction to renewable technologies, including biomass, heat pumps, solar thermal hot water and solar PV. This spotlight will cover the key things you need to know about this emerging technology, plus how you’ll be able to find out more about the qualification.
