SOAR is an award-winning regeneration charity in North Sheffield which provides a number of services for the community including health, buildings management and support into employment. Due to the growth of the Wellbeing Coach team, we now have an exciting vacancy for:
Senior Wellbeing Coach
Full-time: 37 hours per week
Salary: £24,381 - £26,667 per annum (dependant on experience & qualifications)
Permanent (subject to funding)
KEY TERMS & CONDITIONS

PURPOSE OF JOB
The Senior Wellbeing Coach will jointly oversee the day to day running of the Wellbeing Coach team. Taking a lead on the operational delivery, management and development of Wellbeing Coach service, namely in partnership with SAPA5 Primary Care Network (PCN).
They will also focus on supporting individuals with chronic pain, working on a one to one and/or group basis to:
- Provide tailored coaching support to help individuals develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles
- Deliver health & wellbeing sessions aimed at promoting awareness and self-management of chronic pain and associated conditions
- Co-produce a personalised support plan that encourages the empowerment of an individual to take control of their own health and wellbeing ‘what matters to me’
- Work in partnership with clinical and non-clinical staff that form part of the PCNs Personalised Care team
- Develop close working partnerships with health, social care, housing and voluntary, community or faith (VCF) organisations.
