Part Time, 28.2 hours per week, Permanent
Grade 4 i.e. £22,571 - £24,920 per annum (pro rata)
The District of Bassetlaw covers the two main towns of Worksop and Retford, in North Nottinghamshire and its surrounding villages covering 246 square miles. It has a large rural community surrounding the two main towns bordering Sherwood Forest and other beautiful parks and open spaces. It is very close to the M1/A1 and has good transport links.
Our Revenues & Benefits Service administers Council Tax, Business Rates and Benefits and has introduced a hybrid working policy of partial home/office working (50/50).
We are looking for a part time Benefit Claims Officer to join our Benefits team, to undertake processing of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims.
If you have had experience of working in a welfare or financial environment and have the required level of qualifications, numeracy and literacy set out in the job specification, then we would love to hear from you.
