Opportunity Description: To work with young people to facilitate their personal and social development, and support them in gaining the necessary information and skills to enact their rights and responsibilities.
Key Tasks:
1. Prepare and set up for sessions, ensuring information is out and available for young people.
2. To run the sweet shop, ensuring cashing up is done each week and stock check completed when required.
3. Assist with making the snacks each week, including taking money and cashing up using the relevant paperwork.
4. Assisting The Centre Place in supporting service users.
5. General maintenance of the building, tidying up at the end of session in preparation for the next session.
6. Flexible participation in other team duties as designated by the line supervisor or manager.
7. The implementation of equal opportunities policies.

Must be able to work with 11 – 25 year olds and commit to 3 hours per week.
Experience/training in working with people who have mental health issues.
Identifying appropriate onward referral requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues.
An understanding of the issues facing LGBT+ young people in Bassetlaw.
Requirements:
Suitable for: Employee Volunteers, Indoors, University Students, People Seeking Work
Practical considerations: Will be evening (4pm onwards) and based in Worksop. Potential to attend Pride events with Staff Team (weekend work).
