Opportunity Description: Help the Friends of Woodlands and Coachwood Green grow and engage a digital community with the overarching aim to establish us as a local community group, increase visitors to the Woodlands and Coachwood Green and grow our conservation volunteering numbers.

We require someone to grow our social media presence primarily on Facebook and other platforms, through nature based posts to generate discussion, keeping our followers updated on what we are doing and promoting events. Engage with our followers and encourage interaction and find people and organisations relevant to our mission.
We require help with the design of digital marketing posters to advertise our events using tools like Canva.
With the launch of our new website, we require someone to keep this updated using Wordpress.
We would like to design and run a quarterly newsletter that can be emailed to all our community covering our achievements, events, volunteer stories, good news

This volunteer role will work closely with the Management Committee of the Friends of Woodlands and Coachwood Green

The Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator is an ideal role for someone who wants to gain marketing experience while supporting a local service to grow and maintain its social media platforms and marketing strategies. It can be done from home and a requires a few hours a week.
