Who we are looking for: The Langwith Society is looking for two or three new Board Members who can help transform the Society into one that is relevant to those living locally today. Someone with vigour, enthusiasm, can-do attitude, fund-raising skills, event management experience, good communicator and spare time would be perfect! These are just a sample of the sort of skills that would be useful (wouldn't expect anyone to have them all!). The Board usually meets once every month-weeks and currently organises 3 or 4 events a year. Support for the Hall and other groups would be ad-hoc.

Practical considerations: Board Members must be (or become) a member of The Langwith Society. To be a member of The Langwith Society you must buy a share (£1) and must live in one of the Langwiths (Nether, Upper, Bassett, Junction or just Langwith) or one of the Whaleys (Common, Thorns or just Whaley).
