Opportunity Description: We are looking for proactive people to help make new magical memories for the friends and families who attend the Tapton Lock Festival.

Be a supported member of the Junction Arts Volunteers over the weekend of Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th September for the tenth annual Tapton Lock Festival! Help set the festival up; support young children and families at our craft workshops; help run our fundraising games and trail & make it another fantastic weekend!

No previous experience needed, just a willingness to get involved and have fun with us.

Practical considerations: This is a 100% outdoor event on grass and set by the Chesterfield canal. We advise people wear comfortable outdoor clothing and layers which will be suitable for all possible weathers.

Expenses details: Travel to and from the event is provided, morning and afternoon drink bought for the volunteer
Any Age/Gender restrictions: Under 16s will need to be accompanied by someone over the age of 18
Induction Arrangments: Conversation to discuss skills, volunteering experience wanted, event activities and the wider charity. This can be held in person or via telephone or zoom.
Volunteers are asked to read and sign an event agreement and are offered a volunteers t-shirt
