Help Bassetlaw District Council name their new walking routes!
This Spring, the Health and Wellbeing Team and Parks and Open Spaces Team at Bassetlaw District Council are creating four new walking routes in parks and open spaces across the district and they need your help to name them.
The four routes will be located at:
Langold Country Park
The Canch, Worksop
Kings’ Park, Retford
Tom Simpson Rec Ground, Harworth & Bircotes
These will be signposted walking routes that will be roughly one mile long and encourage people to get out and get active in their local area.
The council are looking for some names that are fun, special or represent something iconic in the area. Submit your name ideas for your local route here - https://bit.ly/Walking-Routes.
Submit your suggestions by the 15th of March. The winning entry and your name will appear on the walking route markers.
