Boughton Manor (formerly part of Amore Care) is a care home designed for older people with dementia and complex health needs. The home provides a specialist nursing service for individuals and our dedicated team ensure we meet the resident’s care and social needs.

We are welcoming new residents into our care home to ensure that we are there to support those requiring care during this time.
We continue to review all national guidance, statements and requirements related to Covid-19, and are consistently implementing them as required across our Priory Adult Care services, as we have done throughout the pandemic. The safety of every resident in our care is the number one priority.

About Boughton Manor
Situated in the rural village of Boughton, the home offers a supportive environment with extensive communal space and comfortable lounge areas. The home offers a warm and homely environment and each bedroom has been designed to ensure comfort and safety of the residents.
The friendly and welcoming decor helps residents feel at home and there is a tranquil, fully enclosed garden, which offers our residents a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. There is an open door visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.
The care and support is provided in a manner that offers privacy, respect and dignity. Individuals are able to exercise maximum choice on matters relating to their daily lives.
Introducing our Dementia Plus service
At Boughton Manor, we also offer a Dementia Plus service to further support individuals with behaviours that challenge, who may need close monitoring with their complex dementia and associated mental health needs. As part of this service, we provide a higher-level staffing ratio with registered mental health nurses. To find out more about our Dementia Plus service, please click here
Living at Boughton Manor
At Boughton Manor, our qualified nurses are on duty 24 hours a day and are able to cascade knowledge and experience to the team members. Each person has a comprehensive care package tailored to meet their individual needs, a named nurse and a key worker.
The services and facilities available at Boughton Manor include:
Fresh home cooked food using locally produced ingredients
Experienced chef catering for all medical diets and personal preferences
Dedicated activities co-ordinator experienced in working with older people
A hairdresser visits the onsite hair salon monthly
Specialised handling and bathing equipment for those who need it
Nearby shops and cafes which residents like to visit
Minibus available for resident use
Our activities co-ordinator tailors the activities on a daily basis to meet the needs of our residents. All are encouraged to share their life stories to create memory boxes and enhance person-centred care and support.
Residents can also go on our regular trips to places such as local shops, garden centres, the local park and further afield.
