Day services, also known as day centres, provide you with the opportunity to get out and do something during the day, to help you stay independent. These include:
social activities
education, employment and training
local facilities and housing.
We run day services from a number of locations throughout the county. To find out more about day services read our factsheet below. We also have a list of independent organisations that provide day services.
If you are interested in going to a day service you need to complete a care and support assessment and be eligible for care services. Your care and support assessment will also determine how much you would pay for any day services that you visit.
