Axholme Camera Club is a friendly camera club, of about 45 members, based at Haxey Church Hall in the Isle of Axholme. Despite our name members are welcome from anywhere and we have members from all areas of North Lincolnshire and Doncaster. The club is a member of both the North and East Midlands Photographic Federation and the Lincolnshire Photographic Association.
Our aim is to Inspire, Challenge, Support within a friendly environment.
INSPIRE
What’s your style or main photographic interest?
Learn from the best. Invited inspirational speakers cover a wide range of genres of photography.
CHALLENGE
Competitions are judged by an external judge who will give positive feedback on each image submitted. Each internal competition has a colour and mono winner with an overall winner that is awarded & keeps the EP Trophy for the month. Link to photo of the month page
Digital photos submitted by our members form a comprehensive portfolio of fantastic images. The Committee use these to select images (with the author's permission) to represent the club in external national and international competitions.

SUPPORT
Bring your camera nights. We offer a range of practical workshops and demonstrations, with more experienced members always willing to offer advice
Our Value for Money Policy - Try Before You Buy
We meet weekly on alternate Tuesday and 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30 (currently via Zoom). The meeting breaks half way for tea/coffee and a general chat.
Once you have paid your £10 annual subscription you can ‘Pick and Choose’. You can attend all sessions or select those most interesting to you. In each case you will only be charged £2 (tea/coffee included) for those you attend.
Of course we would love for you to attend all the meetings and if you want to try us first, with no obligation to join, the first two meetings are free.
