Bassetlaw Place Based Partnership have announced a fantastic afternoon of fun filled with laughter, excitement, and healthy activities at Half Term May-Hem Fun Day hosted by Bassetlaw Place Based Partnership on Tuesday 30th May from 12 noon until 4pm.

Families are invited to join in with the activities , which are free for all to enjoy.

This event is an excellent opportunity for local residents and families to engage in physical activities, embrace the outdoors, and enjoy quality time together. With a wide range of activities and things to do, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Highlights of the afternoon will include:

• Free Health Checks: Take advantage of complimentary health checks provided by qualified professionals to ensure your family's well-being.
• Outdoor Games: Engage in friendly competition with outdoor games including a giant connect 4.
• Free Refreshments: Stay hydrated with complimentary refreshments available throughout the event.
• Food Hub: Now Church Langold will also be bringing along a mobile mini food hub.
• Smoothie Bike: Hop on the smoothie bike and pedal your way to a delicious and healthy treat. Create your very own smoothie while getting some exercise.
• Minion Mascot Appearance: Excitement will be in the air when one of the popular Minion characters makes a special guest appearance. Don't miss the opportunity to meet and greet and get some photos.
• Free Messy Play - Get creative with a selection of Messy Play!
• Free Craft Packs - Subject to availability - thanks to From the Heart Charity
• Derek the Dolphin - He will tell you all about swimming lessons at Worksop Leisure Centre!

Also, don't forget to pack swimwear and towels for the children as the splash park will be open during the event! Children can enjoy the cooling waters and thrilling water features while making a splash under the sun. Don’t forget your suncream, as the weather is forecast to be 21 degrees.
