Chernobyl Children East Midlands are a registered charity that raise funds to support children and their families who have been affected by the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
They have a charity shop in Clowne, and the shop prices are kept very reasonable, this also helps the local community shoppers who support them.
The charity have a direct link with Ukraine and the families they have supported in the past and have been active in the support for Ukrainian guests as well as working with the national Chernobyl Children's Lifeline Charity to support the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
