This year’s Pilgrim’s Festival Illuminate events and also the public lantern-making workshops which are open to everyone and are free to take part.

The Babworth Arts Weekend will take place on Saturday 23rd November between 10am and 4pm and Sunday 24th November between 12noon and 4pm – this is also free to enter.

All artwork displayed is to be inspired by the story of the Mayflower Pilgrims – artwork will be accepted at Babworth Church from 12noon to 5pm on Thursday 21st November – please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. • 11am on 23rd – Diane Hemsley with a talk on buttons
• 2pm on 23rd – Rev Mark Cantrill and friends will provide music
• 3pm on 24th – Author and Historian, Adrian Gray will give a talk on his new book, due in 2020

The annual Thanksgiving Dinner will take place on Thursday 28th November (Thanksgiving Day) at Spencer’s on the Square, Retford - £29.95 including 3-course meal and entertainment – bookings being taken now.
