The Grocers' Charity Grant is provided by the Grocers' Charity and administered by The Grocers’ Trust Company Limited and is available to organisations in the UK.

Warburtons Bakery provides financial support to charities, organisations and initiatives which aim to have a positive effect on young people, their families and the surrounding community.

Porticus UK has funding available for established UK registered charities.

Mothercare Group Foundation

The Mothercare Group Foundation accepts grant applications throughout the year from registered charities.

Helping Hands 

Helping Hands is a new community initiative where each local store has been given a budget to distribute to projects and schemes within the stores local community.

The A B Charitable Trust (ABCT) is an independent, UK based grant-making organisation founded in 1990 that is concerned with promoting and defending human dignity.

Aid for the Aged in Distress (AFTAID) provides grants for older people in need.

This Trust was set up by the author J K Rowling to support charitable causes.

The Trust has two broad areas of funding:

Marks & Spencer are supporting a large number of local charities through their store charity budgets. These budgets give donations of up to £50 to local charities.

Biffaward has funding available under its Small Grants Scheme, and is encouraging applicants to apply for grants from £250 and £5,000.

£25,000 to help amateur groups adopt a composer 
Following ten highly-successful years, Making Music’s Adopt a Composer scheme is to continue in 2011-2012 thanks to £25,000 from the PRS for Music Foundation.

Arts Council England launches strategic funding area: England

Arts Council England (ACE) has published details of how it will invest £440 million of strategic funding between 2012 and 2015, including two new programmes for capital and touring..

Support is available across the UK to help people with disabilities and mental health problems to maximise their potential in work opportunities.  Rehabilitation, training and employment support for disabled people and advice for employers.

Qualified social workers or occupational therapists may apply for urgent, one-off financial assistance for essential items on behalf of individuals who are sick, disabled or over 65 on low income.
