The Concertina Charitable Trust is registered charity number 1104895.  The Trust was first registered on 24 June 2004.

The Trust aims to provide funding to help improve the quality of life of elderly members of society who, having made a great contribution, now suffer neglect.

Key Criteria

The Trust is keen to support smaller charitable organisations in England and Wales that might otherwise find it difficult to gain funding.  These include funds to many care homes for the elderly, to provide musical entertainment for residents.

Eligible Expenditure

The Trust awards grants to charitable bodies which provide cultural activities and related facilities for the elderly, in order to improve the quality of life of elderly people.

Match Funding Restrictions

If the Trustees decide that a grant is appropriate, they will then consider the amount and whether to require, for example, the recipient charity to contribute part of the cost of the proposed activity.  The Trust is particularly keen to act as a catalyst via matched funding.
