Welcome to the Bassetlaw Volunteer Awards 2023.
Anyone is welcome to nominate a volunteer in Bassetlaw that has been supporting a voluntary or community group between April 2022 and March 2023.
Self-nominations will not be accepted, and when nominating others you should obtain permission to do so.
Award winners and runners up will be invited to a presentation event on Tuesday 6th June to receive a certificate and gift voucher.
Volunteer nominations can include Trustees, occasional, or regular volunteers that volunteer at a community group or charity anywhere in Bassetlaw.
Deadline for submission is 14th May 2023.
The categories:
Volunteer of The Year
A volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to support a local charity or community group
Young Volunteer of the Year
A volunteer age 16-24 inclusive, that has made an outstanding contribution to a local charity or community group
Cost of Living Support Volunteer of the Year
A volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to support members of the community facing cost of living issues
Health & Wellbeing Volunteer of the Year
A volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to support the health and wellbeing of our local community
Fundraising Volunteer of the Year
A volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution supporting fundraising activities for a local charity or community group - this does not have to be large sums of money. The judges will be looking for innovative ideas and dedication.
Supportive Volunteer of the Year
A volunteer who has gone above and beyond to support other volunteers
Outdoor Volunteer of the Year
A volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to outdoor activities or spaces which benefit local community members
Heritage Volunteer of the Year
A volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to a Bassetlaw heritage charity or group
